FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you have sufficient internet connection?
Our cottage provides guests with free internet connection for each apartment, so you will not be disconnected from the world during your stay at our facility (unless you want to be).
What about parking?
Cars can be parked directly at the cottage in a paved parking lot. Each apartment has two reserved parking spaces directly on a small asphalt road (maintained in winter).
What is the minimum length of stay?
Stays with us are weekly during the high season and a minimum of 3 days during the low season. At the same time, off-season weekend stays can be booked with the option of using the accommodation until Sunday evening.

In this case, however, we charge an additional fee for final cleaning.
Can I bring my dog/cat with me?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. We believe that your pet will be well cared for during your vacation with us in your own home environment or at a dog/cat hotel.
Can I smoke in the accommodation?
Chalupa Záhorka is a non-smoking environment, so smoking is prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation.
What type of extra bed is it?
The extra bed is upstairs in the attic and is particularly suitable for children. The access is via miller’s stairs. An adult can stand upright in the middle of the attic room. It is not suitable for small children under 3 years of age (due to the steep miller’s stairs). The mattresses are of good quality, but are placed on the floor.
Is your accommodation suitable for events such as bachelor parties, etc.?
Parties and similar events are not permitted at our facility. We respect the right to privacy and maximum rest for all our guests.
What about arrival and departure?
Check-in is possible from 4 p.m., preferably by 6 p.m. Check-out is by 9:30 a.m.

For weekend stays outside the season, check-in is possible on Friday from 2 p.m. and check-out on Sunday until 5 p.m.

Other arrival or departure times are only possible by prior arrangement.
What are the cancellation conditions?
  1. Cancellations must be made in writing only and sent to info@chalupazahorka.cz
  2. The cancellation fee is charged from the total amount for the stay, not from the amount of the advance payment.

  • 39 to 21 days before arrival
    cancellation fee 20% of the final price of the stay
  • 20 to 8 days before arrival
    cancellation fee of 50% of the final price of the stay
  • 7 to 4 days before arrival
    cancellation fee of 70% of the final price of the stay
  • 3 days or less before arrival
    cancellation fee 100% of the final price of the stay

  • In the event of cancellation for other serious reasons, we are certainly willing to transfer the existing reservation to another person for the same dates. Alternatively, we can transfer the reservation to an alternative date. We always try to agree with our clients on a reasonable solution for both parties.
